May 30, 2013 , TDF inaugurated its first ProxiCenter in Bordeaux on the Bouliac broadcasting site. The location has three private suites of 12 bays and a shared room of 40 bays with an average power of 6 kVA per bay.
At the end of 2014, TDF have 4 data centers in total. After Bordeaux Bouliac, TDF has opened a datacenter in Lille-Lambersart, Aix-Marseille and Rennes.
Operating sensitive and strategic networks, TDF provides customers with a totally secure environment involving back-up electricity supply, air conditioning, fire detection and extinction, protected external area, video surveillance systems, permanent control of technical facilities and access points etc.
TDF plans to develop its technical and property resources still further to operate datacenters throughout France.
