Medias Services

++ --

The Media Services division innovates and develops in high-growth new segments including new generation Mediamobile platform for road traffic data and digital solutions for content management and multi-screen distribution operated by Arkena.

Positioned at the heart of the "ongoing digital revolution", TDF has the potential to become a powerful driver of media convergence and improvement to content.

New terminals promote changes in consumption including video on demand, catch-up TV and multi-screens. TDF's primary challenge is to support this current explosion in home-based and mobile connected video and in future connected cars and public transport by offering new media services hosted on very high capacity and constantly available shared platforms.

To achieve our goal, we have many strengths – an acclaimed history, advanced expertise, a presence in the most advanced markets (France and Scandinavia), innovative subsidiaries - and we are transforming: by combining our solutions, we can produce the best technological environment possible for our customers and their own customers.

Current and future uses have evolved, and current TV viewers expect the same picture and sound quality on all terminals, with even more services and more user friendly! Building a hybrid offer that combines traditional and non-linear broadcasting in a coherent manner represents a real challenge, which we are working to resolve bit by bit in order to provide both high performance and userfriendly solutions for our customers.

Media Services enables multi-screen video distribution to connected TVs, tablets, smartphones, game consoles and laptops thanks to a complete suite of video content management and broadcasting on connected terminals. The division supports content owners and broadcasters moving towards innovative over-the-top (OTT) and hybrid broadcast & broadband (HbbTV) broadcasting solutions.

Recent accomplishments include the "Salto" immediate replay service for France Télévisions, turn-key OTT platform for HBO Nordic etc.

A vast range of high-performance and highavailability offers based on the latest television standards: multi-screen, multiformat, maximum security, reaching as far as the future connected cars with offers and applications developed by Mediamobile.
